about
Sandy was inspired to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner after using the modality herself since 2011 to treat long term chronic pain in her lower back and abdomen. Osteopathy has improved her quality of life, so she wants to share this with others. She believes it is a key modality in maintaining overall health and mobility. She attended the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton and graduated in 2023. This program involved 4200 hours of extensive study of anatomy, physiology, and osteopathic principles. This program also includes 1000 hours of supervised experience at the Melvin clinic which serves the public, hosted by the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Sandy is a registered member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association/OstCan.
